<image:title>Events and Sacred Fire Gatherings - Monthly Fire Circles</image:title>
<image:caption>Fire gives birth to deep, authentic community. Burning away our fear and preconception, we discover that the natural expression of who we are is sacred, endowed with unique gifts, and is inseparable from our relationship with others. We remember how essential community is to our spiritual growth and how it can support us through life's changes and challenges. Sacred Fire Gatherings bring forth warmth and connections, are sometimes messy, and are very human. They provide a vehicle for learning and engagement and are open to anyone regardless of spiritual affiliation. Every person has a place around the Fire! Fire is a profound, ancient medicine that helps us remember our essential nature and connects us to the world. Come enjoy the gift of sacred fire with us.</image:caption>

<image:title>Events and Sacred Fire Gatherings - Three Sisters Garden</image:title>
<image:caption>Each year we come together in community to create a traditional Three Sisters (Corn-Beans-Squash) garden. Over the growing season, we prepare the soil, plant, care for the garden, and harvest. We connect with the old ways through traditional stories and offerings of gratitude. The garden is a living metaphor for how we can support one another in community. The corn grows tall, providing structure for the beans to vine up. The squash spreads over the ground, providing shade. The beans make the corn more resistant to blowing over and add nitrogen to the soil, which nourishes the growth of all.</image:caption>

<image:title>Traditional Healers - What is traditional shamanic healing?</image:title>
<image:caption>The Wixarika or Huichol people of Mexico are known as healers and wise counselors. Through many years of sacrifice and pilgrimage to sacred sites, followed by a traditional initiation, a mara'akame is able to bring deep healing to those seeking physical, spiritual and emotional help. As in most indigenous traditions, Wixarika healing works with the root spiritual cause of illness, seeking to restore balance in our lives and connection with the energies of the sacred world. One does not need to have a manifested physical illness to benefit from this work.</image:caption>
